Well where to begin we all met up at the hotel was a first time for me to meet Killroy (Jason Sears) and Taininfernus (Alex Richert) and it was a first time for them to meet my son NOTWS (Jacob Weltchek) and his girlfriend Ammiter (Rachel Peel) and of course the new guy Mark Paone Killroy brought him along we needed a Redshirt fella just in case something attacked us!

We hung out and chatted for a while yes we chatted which sounds dumb but we did in fact chat reason being is our rooms were not ready. Once we got our rooms we then proceeded to take the tram to the Expo. First off was at first really funny walking down this road outside the hotel that was like almost less than 45 degree angle and it was about 200 feet of angled road but wasn’t so funny when we headed back later…At first glance once we got off the tram the way the entire area looks is overwhelming so much architecture with aluminum and glass it’s astounding and it’s not just the expo building it’s every building and structure in the surrounding areas… Seeing the huge drapes of gamers nirvana hanging all over the place makes you just want to pick up a controller and start shooting at everything… The crowds of people was insane so many people like ourselves plus developers, retailers and reporters from all over the world all coming to see and test out what’s new or what’s going to be new!

Once we got to the Expo we went and checked in got an identity badge holder for our tickets which hung around our necks. As we headed in there were a stack of G4 bags and we all grabbed one as you know the Expo isn’t just about checking out games it’s about babes, stuff and babes! I already knew how to behave from watching this event on G4 they want the guys to be excited about their games and they want the guys to mingle with the babes as a way of saying thanks for checking out our product!

Anyways before we even started this trip me and Killroy had already set a few goals which one was to meet Markus "Notch" Persso which we indeed did more than once which was amazing…

Mine was to visit the set of G4 and watch it live and I did and was amazed how Beautiful Morgan Webb is in person guess TV just doesn’t do her justice what so ever not even photos show her true beauty sounds like I am in love but I might be but still there is something odd how she looks so gorgeous in person more then on TV. Adam Sessler was just as he is on camera as well as off he seemed like he wanted to just drop the camera and run around playing all the games like a little kid who’s mommy said eat all your lunch before you go outside… The G4 crew all seemed really nice and loved watching them and how they ran the show was really organized and loved the portable set they had was so cool as some might know I was into production and loved working with stuff like that for my own person use over the years lost interest but still love to watch it…

Now back to the E3, So many enormous screens showing off the games and was surprised the decibel levels were not deafening ears were not ringing at all and no sounds from any off the other events drowned out the other as I am sure someone there sets how loud each event is allowed to be. Met so many interesting people and was treated special from each booth. Some people were not so nice but I think it was the persons in general that sort of sucked at working with people… Like the guy at the AMD who was probably a big shot somewhere in the company or maybe just hired as an exhibitor only? But he didn’t seem so nice when I told him I favored NVidia over ATI mainly because the Catalyst drivers I have used in the past completely obliterated my computer. I was trying to explain to him if he was anyone if he would focus on the fact some people out there won’t buy another ATI product until they can assure some people like myself those days are over and they will do whatever it takes to prove it then people like myself will indeed return to purchase their product once again. He did however tell me they have an engineer team always squashing and fixing bugs and updating their drivers to be compatible with the latest games so that did impress me a bit and was glad to hear he said their engineers do have to read and answer questions in their forums from time to time. Which is what EVGA does and their business is always doing well because we gamers like to know someone’s actually paying attention to us.
I never thought about being a “World of Tanks” fan until I finally tested it out at E3 even though many of our CozWorld.com members gave been playing it I never tried it until E3. I think the game itself is really fun and loved the challenge of battling others was the best part about battlefield when you dooked it out with another tank. The idea of having a group of tanks/friends going after other tanks isn’t new but the way its set up is as the way the screen works is eye catching and the fact that the game is completely dedicated to you driving a tank adds a lot of focus on you being a great tank driver so if you need to brush up on your tanking skills for other games there is a plus to playing a game dedicated to tanks.

We walked on through every game booth and it was like for some areas like Disneyland so many lights and sounds it sort of completely pulls all over your body immersing you into the game experience like how they intended you to enjoy it from a product vendor aspect.

I must say we did come there to check out the Minecraft event with the Sony Xperia phone and to grab our Steve heads and Minecraft T-Shirts and we did it all even one of our new members who came with Kilroy one a new Xperia phone in the event which was really cool. Even though I probably will never own an Xperia I like the way it was built and how it felt in my hands. The handset pulls out revealing and Sony controller same as the one you use for your Playstation but flat. It does work just the same and in a way would rather have one shaped like that to play games seemed simple to use. I would like to see Microsoft use something like that for the Windows 7 or 8 phones but I guess it’s not part of the plan or maybe it might be later on down the road. I demoed a few games on it like Minecraft, Armageddon Squadron 2, and some game where you fly around with a plane shooting and bombing. It does have mini HDMI out screens too small for me and being I am not using Verizon it’s not going to be on my wish list anytime soon but I would recommend it to people who want a true gaming experience on their phones and to people who love the controller aspect it’s a must!
We did manage to go to see the "Video Games Live" concert was totally amazing...

meaning:
Video Games Live™ is an immersive concert event featuring music from the most popular video games of all time played by a live symphony orchestra.

So much more will make another blog later with more or maybe not was a long three day event we all had a blast checking everything out and grabbing the goods as they wanted us to so we will have something to remember them by…

Finally it all ended well on our last day we had nothing to complain about and now we are just resting up and packing up for our way home...

In the end the Redshirt guy lived long enough to take this awesome picture of us!
