Normally I do this on my own but I'm tired and lazy. I also got things to do. So anyone know the best parts. List them and I'll check them out. The budget is $700. I already got him a Antec 900 case. So check off for the chassis. He plays The specialist for Halflife, Halflife 2 with many diffrent mods and F.E.A.R. Planning to play Bioshock if he is doing good at school.

PS: Nephew is bothering me to use the pc right now so I'm off to bed.

I dont think its that. I think its that people don't want to be accountable. What 1 person might recomend may not be what you are looking for. Or work in the setup you want.

The only freedom you have left now adays IS thinking for your self.
Please don't take offence by this.

Ok i had a hard time staying around your budget.. but i think i got pretty close to it.

Note: I noticed that you were considering on playing bioshock, so i figured a dx10 card would make more sense.

The build:

DVD DRIVE-

HARD DRIVE-
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6822136074

MONITOR-

GRAPHICS CARD-
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814143112

POWER SUPPLY- *Trust me its enough*
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817104934

RAM-
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820161030

MOTHERBOARD-
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813121046

CPU-
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819115014
Total= $750 w/shipping

*If possible i would seriously overclock that cpu, thats the main reason i choose that specific model.

Now there is only one thing missing.. a cpu cooler.. that is kind of a personal decision i cant really choose that for you.

A good cpu cooler is around $30-50 and you might need to get 1gb of ram instead of 2gb to be able to afford it.

Good luck! ?
